  36. I have LinkIt! purchased at the Toronto show.  I learned that you
  37. _must_ save a default configuration file and reboot for it to work!
  38. Of course, you must have both machines' ports running at the same
  39. speed as well.

  41. When I called them for help, they called back from Canada to NYC in 
  42. response, and were very helpful.  Here is much more attention than one
  43. really should expect on a $60 retail program.  Having said that, I was 
  44. told that the parallel cables will be shipped as soon as they have p
  45. production and that the speed will of course be much faster than on
  46. the serial port.  The cable will prolly be a dongle as well.

  48. LinkIt! is a regular feature on my desk, connecting a DEC workstation
  49. and an Amiga 4000.  As I said, serial transfer is slow, but it works
  50. just fine.
